I wash my sheets every week but my comforter I only wash every 3-4 weeks. A friend of mine started freaking out when I told her. She said that was disgusting. Needless to say, I was pissed. But I can't help but wonder if others would think the same thing. How often do you wash the comforter on your bed?

I use a quilt and wash it every four months but my sheets get washed every two weeks. If your comfortor wasn't use to have sex on, animals weren't lounging on it and its otherwise 'clean' I don't even think it needs to be washed but every couple of months.

I wash ours every week or two. We do have sex on it occasionally, have a puppy on the bed and just like the fresh scent of clean blankets.

I wash my sheets regularly but I only wash my comforter once every month or two, unless it gets a little messy during sex.

I would say about once a month. I don't have sex on my bed, because I am single.

We have a duvet, which we wash every couple of weeks. The comforter itself is a bit more cumbersome, so we just wash it when it starts to get funky.

I wash/change sheets every week and the comforter every fortnight. My husband works in contrustion so everything in our house gets dusty.

I was the comforter about every 2 or 3 months. Sheets only get washed once a month because I only have sex once a month and I'm usually the only one to sleep in the bed. (hubby drives truck so he is gone all the time)
