How strong is your willpower?

Would you say that you have a strong will power? Can you stay on a diet and not cheat? My will power is...I hope to have one someday. I have been trying to eat more healthy but I just can't seem to stop eating junk!! I LOVE IT!!!!

I used to have will power of steel, now it kicks in only if it is an important issue. My willpower went to hell with the ADD.

not strong... but as far as junk food there is stuff in it that hits the addictive part of your brain. and it's the same part that gets hit when you smoke or tan. or whatever...

It really depends. On here, I'm pretty good about not buying a ton of cheap things because I want to buy something expensive. But I have a really hard time not buying pop or junk food at the store.

ope my will power is subject to the availability of the things I am denying myself. If I have no access to chocolate cake then I have the willpower not to eat it!

It varies, but if I can keep reminding myself about what I'm trying to accomplish, it's usually pretty good. The more serious the matter, the better it gets.

Depends on what I'm trying to resist. I've cut way back on my soda intake and done well this week. But cutting back on snacking is going to be far more difficult.
