Whether you're an experienced, avid traveler, or you plan to be, tackling new places can be a fun, and sometimes daunting task.
As I prepare for my travel abroad, I was wondering what the community would think about a travel club. This is a relatively primordial ideal, but here's what I was thinking. Also, any and all opinions and suggestions are greatly appreciated.
Each month, have a spotlight on a place of travel. It could be in a major country, a remote island, or even a hidden treasure across your street. It could include popular and "off the beaten path" places to travel in that location. Contributors could contribute their personal travel experience if they have been to that location. It could also include info on a locations culture and even more stuff.
Alternatively, instead of a location spotlight, there could be discussion on topcis related to travel. Have you heard of couch surfing? Do you want to work on a farm to pay for board? Need to know the rules of tipping (or not!)? We could have a "how to" or discussion involving this.
