I am a terrible dancer and I can't dance in public unless I am very drunk. But I do love it and dance around the house regularly. So, are you a good dancer?

I am taught in Latin dance. So yes...pretty damn good! Drinking has the opposite effect on this style...

I don't think I'm too bad, I have a few years of dance under my belt, so I think I at least have rhythm!

I have no rhythm, skills, training, coordination, etc. If graded I'd get an F! I don't ever drink so I don't know how alcohol would compare, but I figure worse.

I love dancing, and have tried to teach myself various forms, but there are just some that I can't get. I took hip hop lessons for a couple of weeks and found that I was absolutely wretched at it - I move too much like a figure skater, and you're just not supposed to be elegant. I took belly dancing for a while, which was fantastic, but had to quit due to monetary issues. I'm an exceptional stripper, though I've never had training there, which I know and can admit to because I've had people approach me to ask me to join their burlesque group after having seen me dance. I'd actually love to have some formal training in burlesque, because I feel like it could be a heck of a lot of fun.
When I'm out clubbing or whatever, I prefer to actually dance most of the time rather than hump some strange guy's leg, so I'm not sure if I'd be considered a good dancer in that respect. I've pissed off many a partner by refusing to grind my ass into his crotch, but I just think that it's so much more fun when there's a bit of subtlety to the seduction.
When I'm out clubbing or whatever, I prefer to actually dance most of the time rather than hump some strange guy's leg, so I'm not sure if I'd be considered a good dancer in that respect. The last time I tried dancing a bunch of people ran up to me and started yelling about "911" and "He's having a seizure." Then they tried to put a belt between my teeth, yelling "Let's make sure he doesn't bite his tongue."

I LOVE dancing! I dance all the time in my house, sometimes for a few hours with the music blasting - much more fun than a workout! I don't know how good I am at it, but I have natural rhythm & grace, so I know I'm better than JR, Mr. "He's having a seizure!"
I don't care if I look like an ass, I'm having FUN! I haven't danced in front of lots of people since college, but I definitely would be hesitant to dance in public unless I had others about who weren't judgmental pricks!
I agree with surreptitious, a big NO on the leg-humping & crotch-smashing! My dancing is not a prelude to sex with whomever is present, so back off, no copping a feel disguised as dance!
Now, as far as SKILL goes, I rate a 7/10, maybe?

I like to dance and my wife says I'm good. I KNOW she's just being generous, though. Before we met, she used to dance in ballroom competitions and she is unbelievably good. But as long as she likes to dance with me, I'm cool.

I have slowed danced with my wife... but I am assuming that the basic slow dancing, where you just slowly walk in a circle, isn't really dancing.

I can bootyshake and bellydance, but asking me to do 'proper' dance makes me lose all my mojo. My mate is teaching me to two step, waltz, and polka, and it is slow going! lol
