I Cry When I Feel___, & It Makes Me Feel___.

Contributor: js250 js250
Certain emotions trigger tears, the tears also trigger other emotions due to your feelings of crying. I am just wondering about the scope of emotions that make others cry--and how it makes them feel when they cry.

For example: When I get enraged, I cry. This makes me feel very angry and I get even more enraged at what I deem an inappropriate reaction to what I am feeling so--I cry even harder. Which even makes me madder....yeah, vicious circle, working on it but not succeeding too well.

I cry when I'm happy, sad, grieving, or frustrated! I would consider myself an emotional person, and though I can't help but cry, it is a cathartic way of getting them out.

I cry for all of the emotions listed. When I'm filled with too much emotion, it leaks out in the form of tears. Crying always brings me back down to a more neutral state.

I get mad, for awhile, if its worth getting over or forgiving it will come in time but until then no mercy on what a bitch ill become. I'm a very sweet person, so getting upset or anything negative will ultimately be a shock to the world. Yes it's true the quiet ones are the ones to be feared hah

I've lost some good friends to cancer and I tend to cry when I remember them and how much I miss them.

I have not cried in a long time but I do get frustrated and tear up. I used to cry like a baby about everything I think I toughened up and it is not so bad. It will take something really tragic to break me now.

I don't cry that often, but when I do, it's either extreme sadness or extreme joy that does it. Most recently, I've been overwhelmed with feelings of gratitude that have made me cry tears of joy.

I have the same vicious cycle as you, both with anger and sadness-or-frustration -turned-to-anger. I always get angry at myself for crying, and there have been times when I've wished that it weren't harmful to have my tearducts removed!

I cry when I'm sad or hopeless. Or when a character dies in movies and tv shows. Like season 3 of the Walking Dead ugh no. Crying also triggers migraines so it's like adding injury to insult lmao. I don't feel bad about crying usually. Sometimes I will get a lil happy tear when I'm really happy about random things though.

Last time I cried: I was taking beta blockers and was like a zombie and my blood pressure was really low. I couldn't pick stuff out at the grocery store and I felt like a royal dumbass and I knew how different I was but I couldn't do anything about it. Also PMS. I dropped a glass bottle of my favorite salad dressing on the floor and it shattered everywhere and salad dressing was all over my groceries and floor and I just started sobbing uncontrollably. Like not just crying over spilled salad dressing but crying over EVERYTHING going on and that was the straw that broke the camels back. Just hysterical crying. I took a Valium and fell asleep. Afterwards I was like "that was really ridiculous" but idk.

I cry when I see things that are very sad - so I avoid emotional movies with contrived sad story lines. There is enough real sadness - I don't need the Hollywood version of it.

I cry when I'm sad, feeling grief, frustrated, overwhelmed, confused to the extreme, hurt, the list goes on in that direction. Mainly when I'm overwhelmed and I can't pin point what's wrong. Why I feel the way I feel. I hate when someone makes me feel guilty for feeling a certain way. It hurts.
