The old principal of our middle school used to carry hemp rope with him (the scratchy kind) if he saw a boy with his "pants on the ground" he would cut a length of rope and make the boy pull his pants up and keep them up with tied rope.

It cut down on this stupid, annoying (especially if you are behind them) look almost completely in the first month of school every year.

It's actually a myth, and was likely more because prison clothes are ill-fitting. But still...

I really don't like seeing it. I mean, to each their own, but personally I feel it makes you look like a moron.

Almost as amusing as that is when I've asked "tough guys" wearing tongue studs if they knew where that originated... to give the recipient of fellatio more stimulation.

I had heard the prison thing when I was working in a Jail in Colorado 12 years ago!
