So totally not eden related but I scared the crap out of myself right now. so I live in an area that isnt bad but its not the best area either. Well earlier today I went shopping with my 4 year old and when I came home some how I left my key in my door. idk what told me right now but something told me to check the door for my key and sure enough thats where it was. Thank God. it just scared me cause i am single women living alone with my daughter anyone could have come in had I not double checked that. Has anyone else ever done something like this . Sorry just needed to rant about it cause it spooked me.

I personally haven't done this, thankfully , i would have scared the bejeezus outta myself too. I have however knocked on someones door like 3 times (different ppl) to inform them that their key was in their door.
It just goes to show u have good woman and mom instincts that ur subconcious told u to check!!

I have done that before. I live on a busy street so literally anyone could have come in. I live alone with my 6 year old son. I installed a hook by the front door so I would never forget again. It scares me so bad.

When I was living in Chicago, I woke up in the middle of the night and found my front door wide open. Scared the shit out of me.

I've done that before. Thankfully I've always remembered just minutes after...
but I agree, it's a scary thing, because as you said..anyone could come in.
