If you could choose where you want to live what kind of environment would it be? :)

I want to live in a rural area, preferably no more than an hour's drive from "civilization". Small house with a garden and a lot of trees, and not much else to bother me. Basically, I'm happier when I'm alone and away from others (which is the exact opposite of where I am now).

I would live on a large farm that is no more than 20 min (I dont like driving) from a town where I can do any shopping that I need to do. I would grow and raise most of what we would eat. I want my kids to have freedom to go play outside without having to worry about anything happening to them.

Close to or in a small town, as long as I had a yard and windows I didn't see my neighbors bathroom through

I would like to live somewhere that is near enough to a city, has public transportation and isn't too hot or too cold. I have somewhere picked out but it will be a while before I can move.

I private tropical island somewhere.
