I'd have to go with Spanish because it seems to be used just as much as English anymore, and in the job world it is probably best to have as many different languages as you can.

Career consideration aside, I would love to learn German or Russian!

Korean since I am half South Korean and did not want to learn the language when my mom wanted to teach me when I was about 10 years old. Stupid decision by me way back then...

I've wanted to learn German FOREVER. I think it's such a beautiful language in a harsh, gutteral way. However, my boyfriend's family speaks Danish, so it would be very advantageous for me to learn that.

Out of the choices in your list, I picked Hindi. The culture fascinates me. Bengali might be interesting.

I have always secretly wanted to learn Gaelic. If I could have picked my country of origin, it would have been Ireland. ... more
Gaelic is my choice, the second would be Latin.

I took 3years of Spanish. I know some of it, I would love learn more. I think that here in USA that Spanish is the one that is the most helpful. It would be nice to speak German also since I am mostly German.

That would be helpful for me at work. We have a relatively large number of deaf people where I work. Using a notepad to write what I need to communicate is tedious.

That's a tough one guess there are a few I would love to learn:

1)Cherokee- my grandfather was full blooded Cherokee and our language is dying out

2) Irish Gaelic

3) Polish again another family aspect my great grandparents were from Poland- its a pain to learn tho unless you grew up with it

4) Sign language- I have been in so many situations that signing could have come in handy

I'm pretty fluent in Spanish not perfect unless I am yelling at bf lol but I can get by.

Japanese, Greek, Russian, and Gaelic. I think I have a passion for learning languages with non-latin alphabets.

I want to learn so many languages, but I'd choose Tagalog, I guess.

My pen pals/online buddies are mostly Filipino and while they speak great English for the most part, I feel left out whenever they speak Tagalog. I know some to understand a little bit and speak very, very little, but I'm far from fluent.
