If you could meet ANY historical figure, safely, in their own time, for ONE HOUR. Who would you want to meet???? What would you ask them?

I know that Jesus and Moses are right up there on MY list. I would want to know what THEY really had to say about themselves and their "task at hand".

How about YOU? Anyone really ODD you would take your chance at???

That's actually a hard question. Probably someone like King Henry VIII. I'd ask why he killed all his wives, instead of trying for more babies.

Hmm...my first thought would be can I visit a place rather than a person? I'd love to see places that don't exist anymore: the Hanging Gardens of Babylon, the Library of Alexandria, Cahokia at its peak, one of the Maya cities populated, Memphis when it was capital of Egypt. As for people: I'd like to get the real story from Pocahontas, and her perspective on what it was like two cultures so different meeting. I'd like to have dinner with George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, John Adams, Ben Franklin, and some of the other Founding Fathers and ask how they think the US has turned out. If there really was a Jesus, I'm curious what he thinks about Christianity as it exists today. If I only had a police box.

He actually only killed two of his wives, not all of them. He created the Church of England so he could divorce them instead of charging them with crimes they didn't commit.

I would love to meet Julius Caesar. The man was a military genius and just an overall brilliant individual (and he was also not made up...)

Nikola Tesla without a doubt.

I would ask him to explain some of his inventions.

Jesus. Really. I'm an athiest and I'd like to see if he really was the great man the good book makes him out to be. I have no doubt he was a great man with really radical ideas.
