For the record, mine would be named Orgasms Aplenty, simply because the name amuses the hell out of me.

And it would probably be somewhere between upscale (silicone, glass, and steel toys mostly) with a few more budget-friendly and basic items.

I'd make sure it was very open and well-lit, not cave-like. I'd only carry body-safe products and hand-made products from small companies (silicone, wood, or glass). I'd also wish to host educational talks and other events there.

If I owned a sex shop I would never sell anything. It would be like being in a toy store. I would just play all day every day!

If I owned one I would call it something like Ecstasy. I would carry a wide range of toys for all, but I would try to tell those about material safety with the flayers that are posted. And when people ask for opinions I would tell them, so they learn about materials and the safety of many items. I would also make sure I carried a descent amount of plus size lingerie.

I also like the name Ecstasy for a shop.

I would carry body safe products only. They would range in price from cheaper to more luxury items. I'd want to stock every possible luxury toy out there. I'd also sell DVDs and lingerie.

I'd like the environment to look nice, not seedy. Upbeat music playing with a black and red (maybe?) color theme.

Classes would be great. We don't have anything like that around here, so it would be nice to fill that gap.

I'd LOVE to own a store. It just costs SO much to do.

Okay, now that I'm not falling-down tired, I'm more fit to go into detail about Orgasms Aplenty. (I might think of a better name later, but for now this one makes me smile.)

It would be a largely open, well-lit store, perhaps divided into a few rooms. The largest one would be for the toys themselves, with some smaller sections for porn DVDs and educational books. The overall color scheme might actually be of lighter colors, to help reinforce the feeling of cleanliness and make it a bit less intimidating to shy shoppers. I'd also print out sheets about material safety, different types of toys, cleaning information, etc. and have them laminated and posted throughout the store. There'd also be a room for classes and workshops.

Like I said, I'd focus mostly on silicone, glass, and metal toys, but I'd be sure that there were also things like simple bullets and traditional vibes available, since those are a staple of many people's toy boxes. Plus there'd be strong plug-in vibes for the power junkies, as well as a selection of masturbators (I've only ever come across one sex shop that sold these). Probably some Liberator stuff, as well. Also, A WHOLE WALL OF LUBES. Most sex shops I've been to have a very limited number of lubes available, and it's annoying.
