I would do it, but I don't believe they have any right to know my medical history.

Mixed feelings. I'd definitely do it, I already know I'm overweight anyway, so it's not like they can't tell just by looking at me that I'm heavy (at least until I switch off of my birth control, when I do I know I'll go back to my old weight) and I can kinda understand the reasoning behind it, and I'm honestly shocked that more companies aren't doing this, since they pay such an incredibly high fee for insurance now, and probably more WILL do it in 2014 simply because of the new healthcare laws in the US, so no sense in getting upset about it in my opinion. Not much that I can do anyway, and protesting the company by not shopping there will hurt the employees more than the company itself, so I won't even bother doing that. The way I see it, I've had worse invasion of privacy just applying for life insurance and at my previous job, where I had to have my blood drawn and evaluations at a clinic, and the life insurance company went all out on my history. So if you want a job, just like when I wanted my life insurance, you have to follow whatever stupid or silly regulations are in place. Not taking the job just means someone else who is more desperate for a job WILL take it, so it depends on how badly you need money. In this economy, if someone interviews me and calls me in for a job, they're welcome to even take a hair sample and full history if that's what they want lol

I'd do the screening and give them the information.
