I would have to say eyeliner. I lufff eyeliner. I love mascara too but if I had to choose between the two it would be eyeliner. Eyeliner just completes the look for me. How about you?

I can't do without either! I'd also add in an eyelash curler as a must have. If I don't have all three done, I feel like my eye makeup looks bad.

I do not wear makeup often. Almost everyday I do apply a moisturizer with at least SPF 15 because I do have fair skin and I do not like my face being dry.

On the rare occasion when I actually have a reason or desire to wear makeup I don't usually bother with eyeliner so I'd say mascara is more important.
It's not that I don't like eyeliner...but I just plain suck at applying it. @_@

I have to at least have eyeliner. My eyelashes are naturally dark colored and thick, so I don't need mascara, but I usually wear it.

My eyelashes are pretty long and thick so I tend to stay away from mascara, but I need eyeliner. Cannot go out with out wearing at least that.

I do love mascara, but I have alergies and I rub my eyes more than I should. I wear eyeliner every day, but mascara when I'm making a extra effort.

I don't use either. When I bother to put on make-up (don't judge me!), it's a bit of blush, powder, and eyeshadow, and all lightly. My eyelashes are naturally kind of long, so I don't need mascara, and I think eyeliner would look wrong on me. I just use some mineral make-up. To each their own, I say!

I rarely wear makeup (aside from foundation, though even that is becoming less frequent) but I tend to do either one or the other. But eyeliner makes my eyes hurt. I also tend to forget that I'm wearing eye makeup, so I end up rubbing my eyes and smudging it everywhere. I hate how mascara clumps. I don't really need either - my eyelashes are long, and my eyes are quite a prominent feature.

I didn't start wearing foundation or lip stick (as opposed to just lip gloss) until I was in my 30s. I didn't really need either, I guess, unless it was a wedding or a big party.
I discovered Bobbi Brown eye liner. It's the best. It doesn't smear, it stays on, the color is great (I only have the dark black so far) and I only have to put it on once a day, instead of 2 or more times a day with cheaper eye liner.

I never wear makeup... I don't think I own any, I've had to put some on for theater stuff and I hate it, it's much heavier than every day makeup but it's so gross, I can feel it on my face
