I'm not going to vote because I don;t know enough about either. I have an Android phone and like it. Is it better than the iPhone - probably not, but I'll always avoided the 'Jobs' (RIP) tax - the premium that Apple has always demanded.

That's not going to change - I'll get what ever is the best Android or Microsoft phone for the money.

I do not even know what they are nor have I even seen them. I have never even seen an Android. Technology is not really hip where I am from because most are too poor to afford them.

iPhones overcharge and are too fragile. Android is easier and more customizable than Apple's operating system.

I've had the Evo 4g for a year now, and it's honestly a bit outdated by this point. My partner has the Samsung Galaxy SII epic 4g touch (longest name ever) and adores it.

My work buddies have the new Iphone, and they all wish they had gotten an evo. They love mine, and do not think too highly of theirs. I just am not an apple fan, think they are over hyped and overpriced.

from what i've seen, the evo actually does & comes w/ more things than the iphone, whereas you have to buy aps & stuff for the iphone separately.

I love Mac, but not for phones. Android trumps iOS pretty much any day of the week. While there are 'more' apps on the apple store (arguable, nowdays), you have to pay for a lot of them. Example? No free angry birds, no swype, etc.

The EVO also touts gorilla glass, and apple phones are notoriously made of paper. If you so much as even look at it wrong, you'll scratch it and break it.

That being said, I'd pick a more updated android phone, instead of that EVO, since it's rather out of date. There are quite a few brand new phones on the market, many of which are also 4g if your area provides it.

I have the 3gs and it still feels worth it to me. I'm gonna upgrade to the 4s eventually. I dunno, I just have an attachment to my iPhone. It's simple, not cluttered, I can do basically everything I want with it, easily.

New ringtone? Check.. just alter a file. New text tone? Check.. just alter a file. My own wallpaper.. etc.

iphone no expandable media big downside if you like to store music movies pics and whatever on your phone the EVO 4g is expandable to 32 gigs i think and the iphone is like 2-10 gigs of internal storage so no upgrading big downside for me.
