It's finally happened... I used review speak.

Contributor: SneakersAndPearls SneakersAndPearls
The other day a friend called me and asked me about the Stronic Eins, which I had just received. I immediately launched into a whir of "Well, Fun Factory is a German company, and the Eins in Stronic Eins is German for 'one.' Eins does not mean toy, as some people think. It's made of silicone, is waterproof, rechargeable, comes with..." You know, all those things that we put into reviews to make sure that they are thorough and try to answer any questions a potential buyer may have.

However, she wasn't so interested in all that and just wanted to know how it worked. She said, "Uh huh, uh huh...now tell me about the toy."

How did I not understand what she was asking? Anybody else have that issue?

I know EXACTLY what you mean. Even when I'm writing reviews I have to take a deep breath when I write. My friends have physically asked me about toys I have and were like "Just give me the sparknote version of that review." I always hold up well then but when I write, I have to include a lot because I think of potential questions I would have...and I don't want to be potential blamed if someone didn't know something that I knew!

Someone might be against German companies!! Who knows! (though German made things are typically fantastic)

A bit, yeah.

I find myself applying sex toy knowledge to other areas of my life, like others have mentioned. Also giving extreme detail of every toy someone is considering buying, or that I'm trying to recommend to my friends. I feel like it's become a huge part of my life now
