Yeah, medical examiners got the lowest pay grade of all the people who went to med school last time I checked, unless they worked in NYC or something. Why does the idea of working with corpses squick me less than working with children? WHY?

Corpses won't scream at the top of their lungs, throw sticky stuff on you (consciously anyway - hur hur) and steal your candy? Worst it can do is just sit there and mess with your uncanny valley perception.

To say nothing of the jobs that don't care about education, as long as you have five years experience. *eyeroll*

Congratulations! Social Work may not pay a mint, but its doing a great service to humanity. I mean that sincerely.

My specialty is SO specialized that most hospitals only hire one or two, and usually do internal hiring. I have my own business, but it's doing awful. I feel too old to go back and learn something new.

There's not a thing on that top 10 list I'd want to do. IMO, the problem with our educational system is the administrators, who seem to have forgotten what teachers and kids need. The rest are math intensive and...boring IMO. With the exception of Law.

I'd planned on going to Med school, but I realized I couldn't be a good doctor AND a good mother, so it got shelved.
