My wife loves jewelry and she can sit there in front of the TV and watch jewelry shopping channels for hours. I myself being a guy, can't understand it. So, I guess I'm just curious what others have think or say about this topic.

I'm not a fan of shopping channels or infomerscials. In fact I rarely watch tv. And I really just wear earings, and not much other jewlery. But I wear them every day.

Same. I rarely watch TV. Also, I love jewelry, but only when the giver spent time and thought in it. Jewelry bough without a thought means nothing to me.

I feel like those shows profit off of the "OMG I NEED IT NOW" function in a female. They say they sell at significantly reduced costs, but... meh, doesn't seem they would do such a thing if it weren't worth less anyhow.

I only watch "the shopping channel" when they are selling the jewelry brands that I particularly like. I love Kirk's Folly jewelry! I also watch it when they have makeup products. I like to watch how the makeup is applied on the models. If I ever see something I love on tv I always go online and take my time to check it out anyway.

I enjoy jewelry, but I've never really had any interest in watching jewelry shopping channels. Browsing in stores is great, but I find most of the shopping channels to be pretty dull and full of products I don't care about in the least.

Never. My MIL just spent $35,000 on junk from the jewelery channels (I just had the reappraised at the jewelers, yep, pieces of worthless shit, every one), knows all of the people by name and claims they are her friends. She is a normally sane down to earth person and has gotten seriously suckered in to a nightmare for the rest of the family.
