I don't mean what do you buy to make other people think you're pretty, I mean what item, when you wear it, put it on, etc etc makes you feel beautiful, regardless of what other people think? My GF should be coming home in 4 weeks, after being confined to her house for six months due to a broken knee (she took a floor to the knee at while working andhas been stuck in her state since) and from our conversation her self esteem regarding her appearance has lessened. Obviously what I'm asking for is subjective, but any suggestion would be helpful, thank you.

I'll respond. I put on make up before I go anywhere, and I always make sure I'm wearing some nice shoes, be it a good pair of boots or heels.

Scented bath products are the go-to for the majority of us. Getting a manicure. Hair cut and/or color. An inexpensive pretty piece of jewelry (like something at Claire's Accessories; please be sure you know her tastes very well). Cute but comfy panties. Scented candles.
