Prostitutes are one of the most victimized demographics in the United States because they're in unsafe areas that typically harbor other crime, have a low police presence, and because they're going with people alone while carrying large amounts of cash, and because the belief is that they will not go to the police. Personally, I don't have a moral issue with prostitution, and think it would be safer for everyone if it was regulated.

On one hand I say yes, for their own protection. But on the other I don't like it, at all. I think that eventually it will happen though, but not for at least 25 years.

I don't know...but I think there should be some effort made to get the word out to them that they won't be arrested or get in trouble if they report a crime being done to them like rape, abuse, getting robbed/mugged, being drugged against their will for whatever reason, or being forced to prostitute.
Legalizing prostitution itself could lead to some problems (but might make the prostitutes that are being victimized feel safer), and so can keeping it illegal.
I'm not sure there's really a "happy medium" on this issue.

i dont think it should be legal for anyone to just go out on the corner and sell themselves for sex. i do think there should be legal ways to own a business, similar as the bunny ranch is set up, where things are regulated and safe and STD testing is mandatory.

I feel that if you can sell other aspects relating to your mind you should be able to sell your body if you feel like it. I mean, my god!! You can sell a kidney or other organ--of course it is done in a different manner to make it legal....I had someone need mine but was in a wreck where it was damaged so I did not have to go into the dilemma...

Yes I do, I find nothing wrong with it. I think it should be done in a way that has safety regulations, i.e. regular STD testing, screening of clients, done in a clean and private environment, etc.

I am on the fence about it. I think if they did legalize it, that they should require a licence, have regular std screens, and be done in a safe environment.

In general sure. I don't think it makes sense for sex to be legal without money but not with or with a camera/video (commercial porn) but not when there's no recording device.
If people want to do it for money why not? It would probably make it easier to go after the illegal sex slavery stuff too IMO.
