About 48 hours or so. Right now I work at night and have a lot of stuff I need to do during the day, so I'm usually awake at least 24 hours 2 to 3 days a week.

Early-mid 40's, I think.

Memory is one of those things that takes a hit when you don't sleep.

50 something hours. We were travelling and I have sleeping problems as it is. Sleeping on a plane or in a strange bed was just not happening for me.

28 hours. I thought I was going to die. I don't sleep well as it is, so it wasn't like I had a good 8 hours before that stretch.

Probably around 40 hours. Considering I get really moody at the 20 hour mark, going double that was extremely unpleasant. Can't remember why I did it.

26 hours to roller skate during a telethon plus 2 hours before and after for travel and preparation. By the way I did fall asleep in the tub while hoping to reader my soon achy muscles and joints. Had fun though!

Probably about 48 hours. I do know my freshman year of college, I got six hours of sleep in a total of seven days during finals. Like less than an hour of sleep a day for an entire week.

The absolute longest, that can be proven, was 6 days! (No micro-naps for me!) But I have a weird reaction to lots of medicines & if I have a migraine I cannot sleep during it. I used to go longer, but they say it's impossible & don't believe me. Imagine the doctors surprise when they had me under observation & saw it first hand I currently go long periods without sleep, often 3 day stretches, but it's not for lack of trying to sleep - once I get adjusted to my current medicine, I hope I even back out.

Now as far as being able to stay awake on my own, no medicines in my system, I can easily stay awake for 48-72 hrs if I need to, but I have to say I'd rather not.

I fully admit to being a freak
