There's nothing to believe in. There's no such thing as psychics.
And, by the way, why do we think it's okay for people to pretend they can talk to the dead? Isn't that totally fucked in the head? Lying to some crying woman whose child has died, and telling them you're in touch with the other side?

I've been to see psychics and mediums. It's very convincing. I was told that my granddad loves me and wishes he could see me all grown up, and been around during my life. If he had told me where he'd left his old WWII medals, I'd be a lot more convinced.
Yes, it is fucked in the head. Making money off of other people's pain is screwed up.

I'd be willing to believe that somewhere out there are people with legitimate powers like that, but that doesn't override the fact that the majority of mediums are faking it. They're just good at noticing things about people and figuring out what to say at the spur of the moment!
