My significant other gets biweekly mani/pedis. It's really just a trim and buff. It really keeps him from getting "man toenails" where they're all nasty and yellow and whatnot.

I say, try it once.

Never had either, at least not done by someone else. I take care of my fingers when needed and toes after a shower or soak in the tub.

although I don't really like the smell a lot of the nail salons and stuff have I have had a few mani/pedicures and do enjoy them. I usually take decent care of my finger and toe nails but every so often especially if I have an important event to go to I will have one or both done.

all I can say is give it a try even if you don't like the experience you will at least have nice nails.
