I'm working to fulfill the obligations of a lawsuit against the state to move chronically mentally ill adults from long term care facilities back into the community. While the passisive agressive BS that I get from the facility administrators is annoying at times, the expectations of the plaintiffs in the suit as to who can go and who can stay are a bit unrealistic, well intentioned, but unrealistic.

dealing with all the idiots and the stupid rules that slow you down at getting your job done, and yet don't make the job any safer or better.

I have dealt with something similar to this a few years ago. I can't even think about it it pisses me off so much! Good luck to you and keep fighting the good fight, seriously.

As a full time student, when Professors give you a study guide that is the OPPOSITE of the exam.

Working at the craft store job I had over the summer, this scenario

"Price check to register xxx"
I show up
Woman holds up a small bottle of paint "It said this was on sale, but it's ringing up full price!"
Me: Well let's go investigate!

Walk over to display where TWO out of FORTY tags are red sale tags. "Ma'am, this color is not by a colored sale tag. If the item is not marked as being at a reduced price, it is full retail price. The two sale tags say white and cream, and this paint is black."

Woman: Fuck you that's misleading your company has no morals I'm taking my business elsewhere you are a horible person RAAAAWWRRRRRR!!!!

And then having to do it all again the next day.

There were a lot of really nice, rewarding moments, though, so it was an overall positive work experience.

the back pain that comes from hours of lugging people around the dance floor. some people think it is acceptable to just hold on for dear life and let me carry them around. i teach ballroom dance for a living, by the way. a close second is trying to solve all of their emotional problems when they are paying me for dance instruction and not theropy.

Dealing with customers who don't understand how a restaurant works (i.e. as a server, I do not control the kitchen-how fast or slow your food comes out, how it tastes, etc.) The best I can do if you have a problem is ask the cooks to make it better! Also, if we have a full house, you may have to wait 30 minutes for your food. (Gasp!) Sorry, this is not fast food. Thank you. **rant over**
