mutiple accounts on EF?

Contributor: shySEXXaddict shySEXXaddict
I just happened to notice on my wall that someone followed back on these 2 names...a new person but with 2 different names but the same pic,and the pic is a home photo snap shot so im assuming its the same person. Is that okay?I mean if both names request to be reviewers then one person will be getting double items for reviews right?I cant see how this would be acceptable with EF but figured id ask and put it out there

It is most definitely not acceptable. Judging by what you said, this person is point-farming. You can have two accounts, say, on the same computer but only if they're for two different people. Having multiple accounts is a big no-no. I would contact an administrator about them and/or possibly submit a support ticket. I'm not exactly sure what you do in this case because when I reported someone who had FOUR accounts, I was never answered and I don't believe anything was done about it. I had contacted an administrator about it.

Agreed. This is not okay, though it has been known to happen.

I think that a support ticket is the way to go! They may not know the rules of conduct or they may just be being bad people, but with a support ticket the people in charge will see it.

I think you're jumping to conclusions about the toys. Forever and a day, all of the Eden admins have said "email us, if we think it needs to be addressed, we will. We'll figure it out accordingly."

I appreciate everyone of you looking out for the good of the community and that's awesome, but please don't ever think that the staff at EF isn't watching every move on this site. They are. They really, really are.

If you ever have any doubts, please email an admin before you come to the forums. You will have a much more satisfactory experience.

Every few nights, there's a new contributor (or two) with no detailed profile and only a few posts, popping out from nowhere. They'll start a bunch of totally useless threads within minutes of each other. I really don't get the point of this, even if they open multiple accounts, they cannot combine them to buy things. By using this kind of method to farm points, it's going to take them forever to get something worthwhile.

I think that is wrong and someone should notify Ef...unfortunately things like that happen all the time in life no matter where.

You're right, the Eden admin is great at dealing with those people, they usually have them handled very quickly, unless it happened on a weekend. I remember there was one weirdo who formed a sentence, by posting each word of that sentence within a chain of new posts. It was totally crazy and was flagged multiple times. I searched for that sicko's postings the next morning, and they were completely gone, I bet admin must have handled the situation first thing they were back at their desks.

That is definitely not okay. My mother (whom I live with) wanted to make an account not long ago, but I asked her if she wouldn't mind sharing mine, because I felt like that might be cheating EF somehow (since we live together and share a computer). Idk. Eden is a respectable site with a respectable community, unique to the sex shop industry. The points program should be appreciated, not taken advantage of.

It's great to see a newcomer showing such faithfulness to Eden, welcome aboard!

When you say your mom's going to share your account, is it for purchasing only, or will she be posting on the forum also? I'm not trying to be rude, but it gets confusing when two people share a screen name and make postings, since everyone has their own personality and a different way of expressing themselves.

Thanks for the welcome!

Oh no, definitely just for purchases, haha. I don't think she's the forum type anyway.

Whoa, never thought about it and would never do it. Seems unfair they could be racking up points under two seperate accounts....

No, that is not at all okay. Unless, it is their partner or friend, then it might be okay.

Yes, please please please let somebody know off the forums first. The forums aren't the place to air anybody's dirty laundry.

From my understanding, it IS Ok to have two or more accounts as long as you aren't strictly point farming, receiving free products on both accounts, or reviewing the same item on both accounts.

I myself have two accounts, which I had to do in order to have two active Eden stores (each uses a separate affiliate code).
