Im probably gunna get a puppy tomorrow if every thing goes as planned. We are getting him from the pound he is a cairn terrier mix (toto dog) Im so excited. Does anyone here have any pets?

Aww yay for new pups!! Good for you for going to the pound to find one. I have a 4 year old Beagle, her name is Andi. She recently became a big, little sister to a 2 year old German Shepherd. Her name is Cork and we kind of saved her from an older couple who just couldn't take care of her. They were walking her on a treadmill everyday But now that she has had a taste of freash air she has really blossomed! Good luck with the new little one!

YAY! Congrats! Here were we live we found that the pound wanted to much money for dogs, so we ended up looking online for puppies. They wanted almost 200 at the pound for a puppy and we found ours for 100. I am glad to see I am not the only one who got a new one. YAY and Charlies is a cute name.

Oh cute! I love cairn terriers. I have a westie which looks the same as cairns except they are white. If you get a chance, you should post a picture so we can all share the cuteness

Yay! I'm so excited for you - Charlie is a very cute name. It is great that you are adopting! It makes me really sad when people buy puppies in pet stores or online and don't realize that they are supporting puppy mills, and the parents of their puppy are probably still suffering while so many adoptable dogs die in shelters. The awful stuff you find out on the internet. I learned so much about puppy mills that it makes me sad. I'm a huge dog lover so I just can't stand the thought of that stuff. Which is why it makes me super happy you are getting a dog at the pound

good luck. we only have a cat. The wife wants a dog. But she never takes care of the cat, and I dont have time to take care of a dog. So we wont be getting one.

Congrats! I have a pit bull we adopted from a pound a few months ago, a cat that's technically my grandma's, and 2 rats that I adopted from my vet tech school. I love all of them so much.
