I don't think I'd ever go, but it's just because I prefer only letting certain people see me naked. I don't think nude beaches/camps are crazy, they're just not my thing.

There's one near here that I hear lots of people go to. I've never been, mainly because I sunburn like crazy. And I'm just not comfortable with displaying myself like that. Nothing against the lifestyle, though.

We took the family on a Caribbean cruise and ended up on the small island of St Martin which has a French and Dutch side. The French side has nude beaches. My then 12 year old son wanted to snorkeling with battery powered 'sleds'. On the way over I had to explain that he would see nude people on the beach.
To try to get him not to stare I cautioned him that 'it wouldn't be pretty' - that most people we would see would be old wrinkled prunes - and that's pretty much what we saw - not the model types that they like to show in the magazines.
I've been to topless beaches in Rio - they are actually nice than the nude beaches I've seen.

I have wondered onto a nude beach by accident in Vermont. It seemed to be populated by middle age pervs. Yuk...

never been to one. I tried to get the wife to go to one when we where in hawaii, but she would not go. what a shame, it was the only beach with black sand on the island.

I have been to several and i enjoyed them. The ones i went to were in europe and it was nice and not overly sexual at all.

My SO is very fair-skinned and burns easily. She needs spf 80+ to be somewhat protected from the sun. That said, we may try a nude beach in August when we go to California. Black's Beach is located near San Diego, close to where we will be staying and we talked about maybe trying it out...but making sure she has plenty of sun-block on!
