It's October 21st....the meteor shower is going to be viewable in a large chunk of north America. Are you going to go outside tonight or tomorrow to watch for "shooting stars"?

So, are you going to look for these remnants of Haley's comet as they come blazing into earths atmospher?

I didn't realize there was a meteor shower! I can't wait to move out so we can drive to the middle of nowhere to star watch. I probably won't be watching tonight because it's chilly and a bit cloudy here~ I caught a few meteors over the summer though!

I've been watching off and on already, but for anyone who wants to see without going outside, here's the NASA link: NASA Orionids Chat & Ustream Feed.

If it weren't wet and rainy, I would take my kids out so they could see it. But it is too cold and don't need them sick.

I'd love to, but every single time there's been a meteor shower, it's been too cloudy outside to see.

Didn't know about it until now. Briefly considered getting dressed and walking outside... but then I remembered how cold it was. I'll stay warm and bundled up, thank you

LOL. What meteor shower? I had no clue. I was outside til' really late tonight -- having a bon-fire party for a friend who just got home from the military. I kept watching the stars, but no shower for my area. If possible though, I'd definitely like to watch. I've never seen anything like that before, so it'd be so interesting. Hell, I only saw a shooting star for the first time in my life this year! What hole have I been hiding in? Lol

I am like the only person that doesn't really care about meteor showers that much.. they are cool if I am out already, but I am not into going at and watching.
