Do you use cotton balls to make sure your nailpolish stays on your nail? I use either cotton swabs (q-tips) or cotton balls..

I don't paint my nails often, so I never really thought of bothering. I will start using them now though!

My girlfriend does when she paints them.

I just try to be really careful and let any extra polish come off in the shower.

How does one use cotton balls while painting your nails?

I've been trying out the press-on/glue-on french manicures and been impressed by them.

Nope, just regular painting, who cares if I fudge it a little?

I kind of just hold them beside my nail, but q-tips work a lot better.

I do that too, but if I'm in a hurry and want it to look good, I cannot do that Also, I fudge up on my right hand a lot, since I'm right handed and tend to get distracted...

I don't paint my nails ever. I'm no good at it and I find the Sally Hansen sticker thingys are way easier and prettier. I like designs and since I can barely paint my nails nicely, I could never paint designs like the stickers have on them.

I don't paint my nails that often, to be honest. I don't bother with cotton balls or q-tips even when I do do them.

When my GF wants to get her nails painted (not very often) I volunteer to paint them for her she likes it when I pamper her.

I used to collect different colors of O.P.I. and change nail colors every week. I don't really do this anymore. I am too lazy nowadays.

Wouldn't the fuzz get in your way? I use some nail polish remover on a Q-tip afterward to clean up..

If it's really bad, I scrape it off or use a q-tip to wipe some off when I finish.
