I really like my Rotring 600 mechanical pencil as well as rollerball pen.

I almost never use a pencil...other then that dreaded number 2 pencil on tests. Too messy and streaky for me. I am a PEN girl. Nice roller ball. Smooooooth.

I love your answer, but for me, Math means Calculator. Helps me avoid any mistakes.

I mostly prefer to use a pencil, and not a mechanical one. Though it can be annoying if my pencil breaks and I don't have a sharpener nearby.

I love both, but I use them depending on what I want. I draw so I start in pencil and then ink them (if I decide to). But for everyday things I tend to favor pens, but that's only because there are more of those around the house! XD

Because I'm an artist, I guess I just have more types of pencils around than most, so I use them both equally, whatever it handiest. For notes to self, etc., I don't care which I use, but for correspondence & other grown-up stuff, I use pen.
