I'd like to get a little 4 cylinder pick-up with a cover on the back to keep things dry.

I've never understood the point of having a big ol' truck that gets 8 mpg, going downhill with the wind behind it.

My husband has a Nissan (after years with Ford F Series trucks) but the one we have was made in the USA!

He's had a series of pick up trucks for almost as long as I've known him. At one point he had an old used Chevy Luv. (I'm dating myself for even mentioning it.) He got it for a couple of hundred dollars and it broke soon after. It sat in our back yard (cue theme to Deliverance) where people would say, "Why is that truck sitting there?" I was in a goofy mood one day and said, "It don't go!" so that was what we answered until he finally had some kid and his dad take it away for less than he paid for it

I threatened to put earth in the bed of that truck and plant flowers in it if he didn't finally get rid of it.

Up until last year when we sold it we had a Ford pickup that served us pretty well. It was useful having a pickup, but I miss our former Subaru station wagon more since it did pretty much everything the pickup did but had better winter driving capabilities than either the truck or our current car.
