We ordered the other night from our favorite local place....a delicious pizza and a cheesesteak stromboli...and both were so yummy we couldn't decide which was best....

which do you prefer? could be regular or cheesesteak stromboli....or regular or white pizza....which one!?!

I had no idea what stromboli was before I read this and googled it :p So I guess that's a vote for pizza!

I've never had a stromboli, or actually even been anywhere that served them. Is it largely an Italian/American invention?

Touch call, but Stromboli might slightly win. They tend to be sold in Italian restaurants, but some pizza places have them

Every local pizza place here sells them as well.....I was surprised to see that they aren't in all areas of the country, as they are VERY common here

I would say "apples and oranges", but that sounds too healthy. So, I'll go with "Pizzas and Strombolis (or Calzones)"
