I would love to learn but the studio that offers classes is about 25 minutes from my house

It has been discussed with my wife as an alternative exercise to her normal workouts, but sadly she shows no interest in it.

I would love to take a pole fitness class but I lack any upper body strength and don't think I would do well. I probably average size definitely not thin and not too thick.

I don't, but would love to take classes. I'm average-sized, maybe a little thinner.

I have thought of getting a pole and learning for fun as well as exercise. I think it would be fun for myself as well as a partner.

Below is a private poll with some ... more
I was a pole dancer for many years and I have to admit it was the best excersise I ever had done in my life. That being said, it also can be very dangerous. If you slip and fall you could cause serious injury to yourself. My advice if you want to do it find a class and have them teach you the proper techniques.

Never have, but I've always wanted to install a pole next to our swing.

I have! It's super fun. Admittedly, it was easier when I was lighter because there was less weight to hoist up by my arms.

I have taken pole dance classes a couple times a week for 6 months (until I moved and could no longer go to them). I absolutely positively loved it more than any other class I've ever taken. It is fabulous. It makes you feel amazingly sexy and gets you into shape without you really feeling like you're "working". Don't get me wrong, if you have a good teacher it is hard and a work out, but soooooo fun! I love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've never tried pol dancing, but I would love to try it one day. From what I've heard of it is actually pretty hard and sometimes painful because of friction with a pole.
