Pubic Hair Designs

Contributor: PussyGalore PussyGalore
Have any of you ever shaved or sculpted a design into your pubic hair? What tools did you use?

I just picked up a pack of Noxema Bikini Shavers, and I was super excited until I opened the packaged and saw there is a comb-like guard on the back of the razor. It doesn't get close enough to the skin to make it baby smooth and I still have to use my regular Schick Razor to clean it up but then I go just a little too far and my design gets all messed up. Right now, it's just a V shape but I want the lines to be clean with the exposed flesh super smooth.

Any recommendations on what products to use? I use conditioner as a shave cream instead of soap or shave foam.

It's not really a design but I just have a little triangle. I usually use an epilator or sometimes wax, then I use tweezers to make sure the lines are totally straight.

I would love to try and put a heart or something into mine. I think my husband would love it.

After I posted I was thinking that maybe I should try a heart out for Valentines. Wouldn't be too difficult to turn a triangle into a heart.

I have gotten less and less hair as I have gotten older. I used to have a triangle or smaller rectangle, then an even smaller landing strip, then nothing. It has been bare for like 4-5 years.

You know, I might actually see if I can do that now. I'll be working with just a regular razor since I don't get to the store much to get anything else that might help (and I'm not about to start tweezing). But it's worth a shot, lol

We had a girl come to the spa I work at last week who wanted waxed into a star shape. The esthetician was pissed. She obviously couldn't wax that precisely and had to use tweezers and then trimmers to get it to the right shape.

When I was way younger, before I started having sex, I would make designs just for fun. But I don't like shapes and designs now, it looks kinda gimmicky to me. I just keep it waxed in a triangle.

I've never shaped my pubic hair. I feel like it would feel awkward if anything other than shaved or full.

I did the same thing. An ex of mine wanted me to grow out a landing strip after I'd been shaving everything off for years, and I hated it.

I took everything off for the first time last week. Neither My Man or I like it. He hasn't said anything, but he's been....gingerly going at it. I don't know if it's stubbly already (my hair grows so fast) or what. He was even acting "careful" only an hour or so after I shaved it all off. I asked him if something was wrong and he said his nose was stuffy. Sweet man. I can usually read him, and it seems like it's weird to him. I've never been completely bare before, just took a good deal off and trimmed the rest.

I think I'll try a landing strip and leave some on the outer labia. I am actually getting chafed with nothing there. Weird. Everybody talks about "increased sensitivity" with a bare outer labia, and neither My Man or I am happy with it.

It does take some getting used to and I can't remember how long it took for me. I started shaving it off after the initial growth happened. I've pretty much been bare since and when he first asked me to grow it back out I was really kinda pissy about it. I was being poked and I developed a couple of patches of dermititis on my inner thigh and everything just felt "off". So we compromised, I can shave the labia and bikini area and he could choose the design. It's sort of an elongated v and it's become more comfortable as it has grown out. I think it's been about a month now.

@comments about tweezing, I've plucked the area before and if the skin is held taught the pain is minimal.

Thanks for all the advice!

I've been shaving a lot of it for a while, but always just trimmed the outer labia. It was never this uncomfortable. Also, I use a strong A/C vibrator, which may set off some of the chafing. The first few days after I took all of it off, I actually put my nightgown over the area, because it was so weirdly uncomfortable.

I think I'm going to grow the labia back in short like it was (and My Man seemed to like it better with some fur there, as he didn't comment on it at all when I shaved it all off, and he is usually kind about stuff like this) and go for the landing strip.

I tried before to grow a landing strip, but peri-menopause has rendered a lot of my pubic hair kind of....patchy. Weird, where else can you talk about this?

The concept is both mental and physical. As a guy I grew up reading Playboy, then went to Penthouse because they were 'edgier'. It was Penthouse that introduced me to the shaved vulva - so mentally I just think 'hot' when I see it. Other men see it as something akin to pedophilia and are turned off by the thought.

For my wife - she was very reluctant to try and after the first time she said never again - but she started trimming pretty close. Eventually that lead her to shave again. By then she had decided sex was a good thing and really enjoyed the whole experience - so much so that after 5+ years of shaving - she just had her first laser treatment and went full Brazilian.

It works for us - but as you've discovered it's very personal. If you & your guy don't mentally perceive it as 'hot' - it'll just be a nuisance.

Ah!! I love those, they're great.

As for tweezing...oh gosh, I'm afraid to. It just seems like it would be excruciating.

I like the "V" design. But, I can't imagine trying to get it perfect every time. The open triangle looks very difficult to do, as does the interlocking circles.

Some people put a LOT of work into their pubic hair.

If you are really interested, you can try going to a salon to see if they can wax you and leave a specific design into the hair!
