Today I had my first wrong number text. I have had plenty of wrong number calls in my day (we all have) but today I got one saying "it's Karen. Do you want to go sledding at the trap farm?"

The number was not local. When I googled where the area code was from it was from a number in Minnesota! Part of me wanted to write back and say sure and I will meet her there in the time it takes for me to catch a flight, find this trap farm and figure out who she is. I was nice though and told her she had the wrong number and she was actually texting Ottawa, Canada.

In this day and age with way more texting being done, have you had a wrong number text? Anything good? It would be great if people are getting wrong number sexts *giggles*

I had one where a hot construction worker sent me a picture of himself posing with a hammer. I said "nice pic, but I don't know who you are" and then we texted back and forth all day, sending flirty pictures to each other.

Then I had one inviting me to a slumber party...

And there was the one wishing me a happy birthday when it was, in fact, not my birthday.

I had some wrong number text's a few years back. some guy came back into town (not sure if my town or some other town in dif state) and wanted to get together at a bar to listen to some local band. No idea who he was.

This has not happened to us, what has happenned to us is have someone call at 4 am drunk off their ass. I thought someone in my family died, my heart was racing. I was pissed.

I get wrong number calls much more often, since my phone number is the same as apparently a Marathon gas station a few counties over, only with different area codes. And at 6 in the morning, Marathon being mumbled sounds a whole lot like Samantha, then I end up accidentally tricking these people into thinking they've got the right place. Then smash their hopes when I'm all "dude, do an area code check please.

I end up sending the wrong number texts on accident. I tried texting my friend's brother once, but didn't know his number had changed and got an odd response back. And I've accidentally texted my husband's ex, but her name is real similar to another friend's name and was right above it in my phone book and I trackballed too fast and picked her instead. Oops, lol.

I haven't received any wrong number texts, but a few years ago when I was in New York with my family, my brother and I were sharing a prepaid phone. He was texting his friend from camp and I was texting my ex, both trying to figure a way to meet up with them. At some point I started replying to his friend's texts, thinking they were my ex's. Luckily I didn't say anything toooo scandalous, haha. It was pretty embarrassing once I realized it, though.

I've had two and they were both really awkward. The first was a naked pic that said "here ya go Jess." My name Taylor, not Jess.

The next one was asking about what to expect with a brazillian wax. I didn't know who it was, but I did answer because I work at a spa and knew the answer to her question. It was kinda strange though

Oh man, these are great. I never get wrong texts! My phone number used to be a drug dealer's number (I think) and when I first had the number, I got all kinds of calls at all hours of the night. They finally realized I was not their drug dealer anymore and stopped.

Once my phone got stolen and when I got a new one I was getting random texts for some girl named Krystal. I figured she must have been the one who took my phone and had been texting with it. I responded to the texts from her friends "When you see Krystal, tell her that she is a thief who ruined my vacation."

I received a text on Valentine's Day this year from someone named Melinda. I had been texting a guy who responded to a Craigslist ad and I wonder if it was his wife or something. (I watch far too much television, folks.) I later saw a post on a popular site from a girl in my state saying the only person to wish her a happy valentine's day was a wrong text. I thought it was...odd.

I've received a few before but nothing major, I usually text them back to let them know they misdialed. I don't want wasted texts and I don't want the person to think they're being ignored.
