I don't only mean here that you got disappointed with someone, I also mean that you seemed to "realize" that the person was somebody much more "frightening" in some way(s)... (For example I was totally fooled by my second love, and it turned out that he was a TOTAL con guy, and probably a pretty harmful kind... Me and my past naivity... ~sighs ^^)

Yes! I've realized that someone I thought was a friend was actually a pathological liar and possibly wrecked a mutual friend's car on purpose. =/

Yes--I hired a girl who ended up being a serious alcoholic. She hid it well for awhile, but when showing up drunk at work---fired!!

Just about everyone I know IRL has turned out to be gigantic douche. They are either opportunists, liars, cheaters, judgmental, or have mental issues that are so severe having any kind of relationship is almost impossible.
