I want to know how this works?
If you have had someone send you something did you know it was coming? Do they see your address when they click on the item to send you? Was it awkward to have a total stranger send you a sex toy? I mean I would LOVE to have random items show up on my doorstep. However,I am I guess you could say paranoid that they see the address of the person they are sending it to.

People who look at your public wishlist will not see your personal information, even if they send you something. They will only see the name you have attached to the wishlist. It's totally safe. You will get an email telling you that the item from your wish list is on the way, so it won't be a total surprise, but it is still nice.

Yes!!! I had a blog reader send me the Eroscillater Deluxe with all those pretty attachments. I cannot remember how it worked, I just know it arrived two weeks later.

I have once or twice, and I have also sent a few gifts. You can not see their address, nor yours, but you do get an e-mail with their screen name and what they bought you. It's safe, and I don't think that they can even see your real name, just the state it's going to.

Can't say that I have ever had that happen to me. About a year ago I started using EF and before that I actually went to the stores and spent more money than I should have!!!

I would be more likely to gift if the threshold for free standard shipping was lowered to $25. I wouldn't mind doing so in the future but I wouldn't want to do an order less than $35 (to avoid any shipping).

I would love to receive a toy/etc. which is why I make my wishlists public.
Does anyone know where in the member's profile you can view their wishlist?

I tried searching some of the member profiles of those who posted in this thread, how many have activated the gift registry for their wishlist(s)? I don't think you can send anything unless it's activated.

Some people will list their public wishlists on their profile. The only other ways you will be able to find them are if they have posted a link to it in the forum somewhere or have emailed it to you. BUT...if you are wanting to send a gift to any random contributor, go to the page of whatever item you want to send, click on "Send as a gift," and you will see the usernames and avatars of the people who have added the item to their wishlists.

That is your version of the wish list. Underneath the area that says "This list is public," you should see a pink, underlined link that says, "Public URL." If you click on that, it will take you to your public wish list. The URL link on THAT page is the one that you want to post in the forum or on your profile page.
