I'm assuming you mean the bug and not the dessert! I used to see them all the time as a child, but I haven't in years! I wonder where they went...

I saw one the other day walking across my front porch. My kids and I love to catch them, to watch them roll up. We always let them go and never hurt them.

I think they are called potatoe bugs? I call them roly poly's anyway. Yes we have them around here. They tend to be crawling across the concrete outside under the porch light. They don't bother me much.

I have no idea what these are, but VioletMoonstone said they're called potato bugs and if they're the same thing, I see them ALL THE TIME. Yuck.

I think the last time I saw one was a few months ago. I saw them more often when I was young, but that's of course because I actively searched for them. They were fun to watch walk around on my hand and it was cool to see them roll up.
