Do you Have Seasonal Weather?

Contributor: Thumper Logic Thumper Logic
Do you get a complete cycle of 4 distinct seasons where you live? Would you enjoy having distinct seasons if you live somewhere where you don't or do you like more of a Mediterranean climate?

Most people would say that there are no seasons in So CA. But there are changes throughout the year - mostly due to shorter or longer days. We actually have a short summer - about 60 days of hot weather and an equivalent of about 60 days of cool weather - but freezing is rare. The rest are spring/fall like days of varying temperatures and lengths. That's why it's so easy to live here.

Yep, we've got all four here. And honestly, I tend to get bored and anxious whenever a season gets towards its end, so I don't think I could stand living somewhere where they never changed, or changed very little. I'd go nuts!

We have all four--and they are storybook seasons. Spring is rainy and cool--summer is hot and dry--fall is crisp and warm--winter is snowy, very cold and hell freezes over below us!!

Florida has "Summer" (9 months) and "Not-Quite-Summer" (3 months), though one of my friends swears up and down we have "Summer, Fire, Rain, and Hot".

Personally, the Eternal Summer has worn thin for me and I can't stand it. Can't wait to be able to move up north again.

Yes, and for the first time ever, I am NOT looking forward to winter. Ugh. Icy roads, icy/fogged car windows, having to start your car and wait til you can see to drive.

Yep. I live in Ohio and we get all seasons. I enjoy it, though I loathe driving in the snow. :/

Sure, we have Hurricane and Non-Hurricane

As it pertains to the "traditional" seasons, then no
