I'm 45 & I've never had a security item.

But, maybe that's because I've always had cats! The cat was in the crib with me, although she figured out really fast it wasn't the best place to snooze once I could move around on my own & "pet" her

I'm 21 and no, I stopped sleeping with a security item a lonnnnnnng time ago. Although, I guess you could consider my fiance a security item; I definitely don't like to sleep without him in bed with me.

No security item here. I had a blanket when I was very little that I would sleep with every night, but I no longer have to do that.

I'm 23, I've got a toy I've had since I was very little and I still keep him around, he's no longer in my bed but he's always somewhere visible in my room. I try not to get sentimental with objects but I can't NOT have him around haha.
