There is really no such thing as 'normal'. Weather is variable - we're all so into hype. Everything is the 'worst' or 'best' or 'hottest' or 'coldest' ever - it's almost never true.

For what it's worth winter is only a couple of weeks old. When I lived back east February was typically the coldest & snowiest month - so if you live back there - yes the worst is yet to come.

Here, there are previous expectations about the rain levels. This winter will be exceeds any year before. the gov strated earlier to overcome the possible worse results like floods.

Usually the worst of the winter weather hits us in January/February, so we are waiting to see what is coming. This has been an amazingly mild winter so far.....

Like my response to another post earlier today, the weather has been unusually warm in the Northwest (or will fluctuate and drop ten to twenty degrees in one day). I'm hoping the real frosty weather has yet to come, I REALLY want some snow!

The weather here has been unusually nice for this time of year, which means it'll likely be hell the next couple months before spring. Wish it were this nice every winter.
