Every year at my college, there is a huge Seven Deadly Sins party. It is basically THE party of the year, and costumes are practically mandatory. The party is this Saturday, so I've been brainstorming costume ideas and trying to figure out what my biggest sin is :p. While I haven't figured out this year's costume, last year I dressed up as a gold digger (Greed).

So here are the questions.... What's your sin? And, for fun, how would you portray it?

Sloth

Some of my ideas:

Dominatrix-esque outfit - Wrath/Lust combo
Pimp (Complete with my male ho) - Greed
Candy wrapper decorated skirt and top - Gluttony less

Oh wow this sounds like *so* much fun! Personally my sin is Envy, but for the sake of costumes I would go with Pride/Vanity and get all Hollywood dolled up. Blonde curly wig, fake eyelashes, fake tan, ridiculously trendy clothes.

However, your Lust costume sounds fabulous... I vote for that one. less

My favorite seven sins art so far is this series of seven on deviantART. I like the way associated elements are worked into the pieces. For example, lightning for wrath, a serpent for envy, etc. My favorite one from the series is Sloth, because she's just so darn cute with her feathers and bubbles.

I can't choose one sin for myself, because I feel like I'm guilty of all of them, to a moderate extent. I think dressing up as Pride would be the most fun, though. Maybe I'd tape my mouth shut, since pride is known to infringe on our ability to communicate effectively with others. Teehee--duct tape costume! less
