When I say I can't because I have a headache it's because if my headache is bad it usually turns into a migraine really quickly. That means I can't deal with any light, sounds, smells, and definitely not a lot of movement. That means sex is out. It involves all of those senses.

When I get a bad enough headache and I'm fortunate enough to be with my boyfriend, I get grumpy. He bugs me about how sex can cure a headache and eventually I give in and by jove, he's right everytime! This usually means that I feel much better and more frisky post-sex and he inevitably passes out. This is the only part that sucks

Usually it'll make it just go away for the duration of the sex..so I chose that it makes me forget about the headache, since I am assuming that's the cause of my temporary reprieve from the pain.
If it's a light headache or a tension headache it'll completely go away afterwards because I'm so relaxed.

Guess it's not all headaches for me, cuz last night I started and ended with a headache. But I was worn out enough to really pass out and have a great night's sleep.

I, as a girl, rarely get headaches, and have never gotten one from sex. My boyfriend, on the other hand, gets them all the time, sometimes doesn't want sex because of them, will forget about a headache during sex, and afterward finds that his headache got worse from the exertion. It's not that rare that I have to get him Advil and some iced tea afterwards.

I have never had a headache worsen because of sex, I've certainly forgotten about them during it and had them come back (or rather, simply noticed they were still there later)...but it's never gotten worse.

I get horrible migraines, often. If we can get to it AND I can have some decent orgasms BEFORE the pounding, throbbing, flashing lights and nausea of migraine pain start. (NO, I wasn't talking about the SEX) IF we can get to it first. Once I am in the Ice Pack Mode, it probably won't help, although if I'm not dry heaving yet, I'll give it a try.

The flipside is, having rough sex where there might be (ahem) jaw fatigue, rough oral, or breath play, can give me a headache.
And, yes, good sex can make me forget a headache. It can make me forget everything, like even how to walk properly or use words in a way that makes sense.
So really, I choose 3 of the above options. less

Works for me for all but the worst headaches. I don't get migraines but close. Only works for small ones for the wife. Anything stronger and I do not touch.

Sex cures most pain for me, but if I can't get in the mood it won't be good enough to, and I can rarely get in the mood when I have a migrane. Luckily, it doesn't happen very often anymore.

Having sex gets rid of headaches for me.. however, I don't get intense headaches. Mine are usually sinus headaches and they're not so strong that they would totally kill my mood.
