Shake weight for men commercial

Contributor: T&A1987 T&A1987
While watching star wars on spike TV, I caught this commercial for the shake weight for men (It's on the lower left hand corner). This commercial makes me wonder if the company gets the joke and is going along with it, or they are woefully oblivious. What I'm mainly referring to is the "woo, finished" the guys using the shake weight exclaim when finishing their work out. So, do you think this is a deliberate joke acknowledging how people think the shake weight looks like giving a handjob/masturbating or are they just oblivious?

I would hope they're in on the joke, but who knows.

I definitely think they know what they're doing. By making it seem as if they don't, it seems funnier and gets a bit of a pass by the networks (censors). Who would buy that thing besides as a gag?

In regards to who would buy it, I know, right? the shake weight is for those without regular access to a penis, who want to strengthen those muscles for some reason. Men are probably the worst demographic.

Did you ever see the South Park episode spoofing this (Shake Weights and Food Channel "porn" in one). It was downright hysterical - they even had a model that would splash your face with "cooling refreshment" and then dispense cab fare

Sadly enough I know people who wouldn't get the joke. I just hope the people who made the ad are in on it.
