Should ID be required for voting?

Dead people having been voting in Chicago since 1960. A photo ID should be required to vote if you need a photo ID to drive or enter the country. Identity theft isn't going to go away. We should face facts and adapt so the crooks don't get away with it every time.

Well, you register to vote and need to identify yourself. However, I think that, if there are truly so many people who don't have a photo ID for whatever reason (I didn't have a non-driver's ID until I was almost 23), a paystub or a utility bill should do. *shrugs*

Who needs to wake the dead to vote when they can just mess with the machines?

I like the idea that Chirple mentioned back in Dec.: require I.D. but remove the fee for State I.D.

I think they should require ID. There are so many dead people "voting" and it would be awesome to have legal votes rather than all this crap.

The waiving the fee for the ID would be great, but I know it's $10 for a PA ID, and it doesnt take much to get a check or money order for the fee to get one.
