Silly pet names?

I've always found ironic pet names to be entertaining.
A rooster named Alice and a chicken named Arnold.
A hedgehog named Fluffy.
A chihuahua or miniature poodle named Spike.

We have a little Border Terrier (only weighs about 13 pounds) who we've named Pig.
Do you have any (or have you met any) animals with entertainingly ironic names?

A few years back, I convinced a friend of mine to name her new kitten "Catticus Finch" (after the similarly named lawyer in To Kill a Mockingbird)

Cat named Duck

(I have to tell you this story because its just too funny)

A burglar breaks into a house. He starts shining his light around looking for valuables. Some nice things catch his eye, as he reaches for them, he hears, "Jesus is watching you." Startled, the burglar looks for the speaker. Seeing no one, he keeps putting things in his bag, again, he hears, "Jesus is watching you." This time, he sees a parrot. "Who are you?" the burglar asks."Moses," the bird replied."Who the heck would name a bird Moses?" the man laughed."I dunno," Moses answered," I guess the same kind of people that would name a Rottweiler Jesus."

I used to have a chinchilla named Booger. He now lives in Florida with my nieces.

Also, my mom used to have a cat named Pup.

While my dog has a relatively normal name, I have known a dog named Dammit and a dog named Deeogee (D-o-g).

I prefer my pets to have normal or at least reasonably dignified names. Never was a big fan of silly or ironic names.

Though I will admit that I laughed pretty hard when I heard an announcement in my store asking for the owner of Wonderwoman to come to the grooming salon. And like Lildrummrgurl7 I've also heard of a dog named Deeogee.

A lot of our pets were adopted and had names when we got them. However, my ex's cat's name was "The Dude."

I have to ask- What inspired him to name his cat after a ring of muscle tissue?

My neighbor had a dog named pig. Their poor kid got confused when he was learning his farm animals. My little dog's name is Waylon.
