How about just "standing" on the snow-covered ground? I'm horrible at keeping my balance, so I've decided long time ago not to pursue skiing, but I love to be there and freeze my butt off!

Once you pack your sled runs it's awesome. I've gone 60 miles per hour on a sled before, and it was the best experience of my childhood. That feeling somewhere between "BEST SLED-RIDE EVER" and "I'M GOING TO DIE" is amazing.
