My 46 year old friend admitted recently she still sleeps with her baby "blankie" in her bed. YES...the one SHE had as a baby. Her hubby just accepts it after 22 years! She has 4 kids..and THEY don't use their own baby blankets anymore (they are 14 and up)...SO...anyone else still have a baby blanket or teddy bear...whatever, that they sleep with????

I don't like to admit it, but I do occasionally sleep with a teddy bear. I do it when I am VERY stressed and scared. I don't usually tell anyone I do this, especially partners.

My husband still has this awful blanket that he had when he was younger. It is all torn up and filthy. I can't wash it becasue it is so old that it would just fall apart in my washer, and yet he refuses to get rid of it!

I personally don't do this, I don't have any attachment like that to a blanket/teddy/pillow etc. My fiancee on the other hand has what she calls "hummy blankets". Basically a few smaller blankets from when she was a kid, they are a comfort thing and she "hums" them between her fingers. Again she has done that since she was a kid. I pick on her now and then for it.

Call me a dork if you must, but I actually went to Build-a-Bear on my 20th birthday and made myself a bunny. I didn't really think I would, but I wound up sleeping with it. I also sleep with an alligator I've had since I was a kid (both get cleaned regularly, don't worry).
I love plush toys in general - I don't really play with them like when I was little, but I think they're so cute and nice to have around. Plus, and this is what I tell most people who ask about it, they're a source of comfort when no other is available. If I need to hug something, they're there. Especially since I'm going through a little bit of a rough spot at the moment.

I have a stuffed animal that I've had since I was born that I still sleep with. I'm a cuddler though in my sleep so I have around 10 blankets, a regular pillow, and a body pillow all on my tiny twin bed. I just like to be surrounded.

I have a teddy bear and a perfect cuddly-size Hello Kitty that I sleep with. It's not so much an emotional attachment as it is for comfort. I sleep on my side and I feel most comfortable being able to hold something in my arms while falling asleep. My future spouse will have to deal with it because I can't fall asleep while spooning with a human being, only my teddies.
Okay, MAYBE I'll move on to a pillow instead someday. But I see nothing wrong with sleeping with something "childish" if it brings you comfort.

Yes I do have 3 little stuffed animals in my bed. They were all given by my owner. They all sleep in my bed. When I get worried or need a hug I go to them for comfort.

When I'm very stressed or sad or anxious, I sleep with the bear I got after my mother died. My brother still has his, and my sister carries hers around at stressful times.

I have a pillow that I have had for years that I cuddle when I sleep, and my hubby has a big stuffed giraffe that he cuddles in his sleep. We have learned to accommodate them, and only rarely does one or the other get in the way...

I wrap myself in fuzzy blankets, but it doesn't matter which blanket it is, just as long as one of my smaller fuzzy blankets is there.
Otherwise, I have a stuffed monster that a friend made that I sometimes snuggle just because I think he gets lonely. :B

I have a teddy bear that I've had since I was three and I remember it ALWAYS being around. I don't cuddle with it so much nowadays, though Usually only when I'm sleeping alone or feeling lonely.

...only a few stuffed animals out of the ones I own do I actually sleep with. You have to be one tough plushie to stand up to my cuddles of death. x'D
I usually have to look for ones that are packed so full of stuffing that they're hard if I don't want it to go all floppy after a few months.

I have a feather pillow that has a satin pillowcase on it. I cant sleep without that pillow. It goes everywhere I go. I buy a new case from time to time and the pillow is mostly just the covers on it. What can I say?
