Smoke indoors or outdoors?

Contributor: Anne Anne
I mostly smoke indoors in my apartment because I'm allowed to... but i know there are some people that don't or aren't allowed to. So, indoors or outdoors?

I live in an apartment and I am allowed to smoke inside, but I prefer to smoke outside.

I smoke outside. Except this one time I'd been watching Twin Peaks at night and was too scared to go outside for my bedtime cigarette so I just sat in bed and smoked. :p

I do not smoke but if I did, I think I'd do it outside because of the awful smell.

I used to inside, but since I quit and got my sense of smell and taste back, I don't know how I could stand it. I was a chimney, lol.

When my mother smoked she smoked outside where we're living now unless it was cold out...then she smoked in the basement stairs so the smoke would go up into the attic and seep out eventually.
But in the apartments we had, smoking was allowed so she smoked indoors all the time.

My boyfriend smokes and previously only ever smoked inside. Interestingly enough, although his mother smoked, she frequently complained about being able to smell HIS cigarette smoke, so usually when he smoked it was with windows wide open. He's not a fan of the smoke either, so this helped. Over the summer when he came to visit me he wasn't allowed to smoke inside, however, and ended up switching to smoking solely outside. He discovered that he prefers this a lot: not only is it nice going outside more often, but he smokes less because cigarettes are not quite as easily accessible if you have to go outside to smoke them. It's worked out really well for us, being in an LDR too, because his smoking time has become our phone time: since he has to be outside regardless, he typically calls me and we spend his time outside smoking talking together.

Always outdoors. I go and visit peoples houses every once and awhile and the smell is just nasty.

I smoke down in my kitchen because of my kids. I also smoke outside too. My apartment has no rules on smoking inside.

I never smoke inside. It does horrendous things to the walls, curtains, furniture, and everything else.

Outdoors. Once in a blue moon, I'll have one inside, by a window, when no one is home. Even then, only if it's freezing outside.
