It looks like a lot, but with the number of people out of work in these areas and the fact that so many of them are food service and retail, which pay like crap, it really isn't that great of a deal. Detroit stands out with the Auto Industry picking up. Buy American! Also, San Fransisco has some good jobs. Most of the jobs in Chicago and LA are low paying crap, though.

The article does not state whether they are entry-level or management jobs, but if you're out of work any source of income is a great place to start.
