We are on vacation and there is an amazing...humongous breakfast buffet being served tomorrow, at a "special event" we are attending. I am going for Waffles and I have been told the place we are going (we are leaving a cruise ship..back to shore), has like fifty "exotic fruit" compote's and fruit toppings available for their waffles. These include Star Fruit, Ackee, Rambutan and a bunch of others, some berries, I have never even heard of, let alone tasted. Has anyone ever had "exotic fruits" on their waffles? What should I try...????? (Name it...they will probably have it. They fly this stuff in from around the world. Sounds incredible.
So...what exotic fruit would you have on a waffle?

I like Star Fruit, but it's really tart and I don't know how it would be on waffles. Pomegranate would be really good. Papaya or Guava would probably be good too.

I'm not very adventurous, so I'd probably try some sort of berry I hadn't had before. If it was all fresh, I'd try everything, but as a compote, just berries.
